Where required, Merkland Tank can carry out installation and modifications to small pipe works. This is of particular importance in the case of water tanks, where pipework needs to comply with Byelaw 30 requirements.

 

Using our portable TC-1000 fuel transfer and cleaning system we can remove water, sludge and sediments that naturally accumulate in tanks. The system cleans and restores the fuel to usable condition. Eliminating fuel algae issues, clogged filters and improves reliability of equipment. Where diesel fuel is cloudy or showing signs of suspended particles we have an American fuel cleaning system which in most cases can alleviate this problem and re-condition the fuel to allow it to be used again.

 

Boiler survey preparation involves the opening, cleaning and subsequent re-assembly of boilers for insurance surveys. We stock all necessary equipment and are able to clean the boiler with either wet or dry methods.

 

Using our selection of high pressure jetting machines and experienced trained operators we can pressure wash drains which strip deposits from pipe walls, flush out drain waste and restore full flow.
